Educating . Elevating . Empowering

Founded in April of 2019, TsaZesh was set up to meet the  human rights and mental health needs of a global community that fears speaking out about their struggles. Our motto is to educate, elevate and empower individuals so that they may impact their family, friends and community.

Founders Sarah & Zahra Gulamhusein invested in its creation after losing their beloved Mother in the Summer of 2018. Their experience of grief pushed them to rediscover the importance of helping themselves and through that, emboldened them to help others.

They believe that it can be daunting to speak out about mental health and human rights, but social welfare is vital for a society to thrive and it all starts on an individual personalised level.

By helping each individual cultivate their own garden, a movement is created within their sphere that ripples to those around them on all levels: family, friends, colleagues and then the entire community.

This movement is what carries the ultimate power of changing lives.

TsaZesh seeks to fight for a society where the rights of the mind, body and soul are protected, cultivated and nourished.

We aim to achieve this mission in a three-pronged fashion:

  1. Educating: Providing educational resources and tools that incorporate mental health, spiritual wellbeing, and self-development

  2. Elevating: Facilitating the elevated growth of the body, mind and spirit through positive and holistic projects at individual and community levels

  3. Empowering: Cultivating the empowerment of each individual in their own sphere via awareness raising campaigns to eradicate their barriers and achieve their potential
