Throughout her life, Sarah came to fully appreciate just how intricately a person's life is influenced by their development and experiences at all levels, the foremost of which is as a child. She believes that while social structures and primitive mindsets can shape a tame-able version of who we are, we have the power within us to rise above our barriers, liberate our values and emulate positive, lasting change.

"No single flower cannot be bloomed; Your butterfly is all you need to find."

Zahra Gulamhusein - Co-Founder, BSc (Hons) Sociology with Psychology

She believes that the realities we live in can often become shackles, chaining us to certain norms and limiting our potential to achieve and create change.

This was the main reason she co-founded TsaZesh, in the hopes of channeling her inclusivity and paving the way for even the most downtrodden blossoms to bloom as though they are in the glory of ever-lasting spring.

Some of Zahra’s achievements include:

  • Graduating with First Class Honours Degree in BSc (Hons) in Sociology with Psychology at City, University of London after attaining a distinction on her undergraduate foundation programme in Humanities, Law and Social Sciences

  • Completing a Harvard certified course in Child Protection

  • Undertaking an internship at the Mayor of London's Office

  • Working as a Consumer Insight Specialist at Samsung Electronics European Headquarters

  • Volunteering at a sustainability conference and advocating for disabilities equity while spreading awareness on neurodiversity and domestic abuse
